Meet the team
Nic Grose
Director / Accredited Exercise Physiologist
As a senior accredited exercise physiologist, empowering people through movement has been my lifelong passion.
After earning my degrees in Human Movement and Exercise Physiology, I spent over a decade helping individuals in clinical rehab settings. While rewarding, I yearned to create a more inclusive environment tailored to each person’s unique needs.
In 2017 I witnessed a young local sportsman, Ryan, sustain a spinal cord injury on the rugby league field. After spending time with the family and starting Ryan’s rehab I quickly realised that our town needed an Exercise Rehab setting.
And so, fuelled by over 20 years of experience, Ryan and I founded Active – On The Move Rehab in 2019. Our rapid growth proves the welcoming atmosphere and participant-first approach resonates. Nothing compares to seeing our community thrive.
I believe that every person deserves an opportunity to be connected, to be happy, feel empowered and be able to access the norm.
Being a part of OTM I want all our participants to know that in our setting they are supported. Exercise and movement is a massive part of my life and everyone should have the opportunity to make it a part of theirs.
